Description: | K&L Distributors, a full service alcoholic beverage distributor, is seeking a Sales Team Leader in our Anchorage, Alaska location.
Job Duties include:
* Presentation of product programs & new products to key buyers at retail accounts, both independent stores and chain stores.
* Understanding of beer, liquor & wine pricing with the ability to suggest buying strategies for retailers.
* Monitor monthly sales to make sure that price/quantity levels are met.
* Assignment of monthly targets on incentive point sheets for salespeople & monitoring progress of assignments.
* Visit accounts to ensure that K & L beer, liquor & wine standards are met or exceeded in all accounts.
* Direct team memebers on current priorities/direction.
* Support selling effort through work-withs and training.
Required skills:
* Able to frequently lift 65 pounds.
* Strong communication, time management & decision-making skills.
* Ability to supervise & direct a vatiety of personalities.
* Ability to organize and pre-plan.
* Knowledge of the alcohol industry in Alaska preferred.
* Supervisory experience preferred.
Must have a valid Alaska drivers license with a good driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age.
