Description: |
Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Requires 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. |
Qualifications: |
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms and speak and hear effectively.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Candidates must be able to operate various hand and power tools including but not limited to pick shovel, hammer, and various wrenches.
Must be able to perform heavy manual labor including digging, lifting, and carrying under varying and inclement weather conditions such as extreme cold and dampness.
